Mo' Titles for MoHills and MoTown

Morris Hills continues to dominate the IHC-Hills in track, winning their fifth straight on Friday night.

Morristown wins the Iron reviving a long tradition.

Congrats to both teams and all the individual winners.

Here's how it shook out:

2) Mendham 88

8) Mount Olive 6.25
9) East Orange 6

I think there should also be a "combined" title crowning winners for a boys
and girls teams' combined score. This would be more reflective of
a schools'
overall effort and program status.
Here's how it would have looked had such an award/title been in place:

HILLS Combined:

1. Mendham (145)
2. MoHills (133)
3. HP (119)
4. Summit (100)
5. Chatham
6. Par Hills
7. Parsippany
8. Dover

IRON Combined:

1. Columbia (117)
2. Motown (116.5)
3. Randolph (112.75)
4. Roxbury (64.5)
5. WMC
6. Mount Olive
7. Livingston
8. Knolls
9. E.O.

So, it actually looks like Mendham has the overall strongest program
in the Hills this year and Columbia is thus in the Iron.

As an aside, I thought Columbia had no athletes in the school...but I
guess they just can't play football??

Thoughts??

Val, you crack me up! Some how you always bend it so Mendham wins. It doesnt even matter what sport it is. They should make a movie and call it, "Bend it like Val Halla".

I am only busting...congrats to MoHills. But what is this, is the season over already? What is the deal with Winter Track? I have no idea so perhaps someone can fill me in.

I want Bella winning the State championship for the Shot.

Take a look at the list of individual winners. Mendham actually did really well...Vigilante, Franklin, Tamburello, Ralli, Bella, all had first place finishes. Vigilante even broke a meet record in the 3200 previously held by another minuteman.
