Aeron Gilson won the 55m (again) for the day with a time of 6.72 seconds, but I think that there are other threats in the area he hasn't encountered, that being said, who will it be to challenge him? It'll be tough, for sure.
Steve Tamburello, also depicted above in the 55m, holds Mendham's 55m Freshman record (6.80), beating the previous record holder, Andrew Schofield (currently of Michigan State), who had a time of 6.81. Tamburello also ran the 300m at the Passarelli, and finished in what looked like first, but was later DQ'd for a move to the inside lane in turn 5 (last) in which he rubbed shoulders with Yannick Jones (Union; 37.66) the eventual winner. What will Steve run at the IHC's on Friday?
All in all, it looks like coach Hamblen has been secretly assembling a threat to MoHills track dominance...I guess we'll see.

Franklin seems like he is really making a name for himself. I guess he has been spending less time in the Ministry of Magic and more time practicing.
As for Vigilante...what can you say! There is nothing better than a frosh or a sophmore making a splash like that.
Speaking of which...I saw a bumper sticker yesterday up here in the land of loons..."Republicans for Voldemort '08". Dopes.
Vigilante is going to shatter some records before all is said and done.
Franklin will likely stay on top if he works hard...
Tamburello would have had at least 2nd place in the 300 had he not brushed shoulders with Jones...who I think might be a soccer player as well 'cause he "acted" out the foul like a soccer player trying to draw a red card.
...and of course Bella took the shot (again). You should do an interview on her.

Between Bella, Savercool, Fick, Vigilante, Tamburello, and others, Mendham is stacked with talent...they should give 'Hills a run for their money.
I like the depth that Savercool gives them. I would like to see Mendham start to break away from the rest of the conference now.
